Sowpeace Return, Replacement & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Sowpeace! Every Sowpeace product is crafted or curated with care — whether handmade by skilled artisans, crafted using traditional Indian techniques, or sourced from verified international suppliers. Due to this handcrafted and artisanal nature, minor variations in colors, patterns, textures, or dimensions are natural and celebrated as signs of authenticity, not defects.

1. 48-Hour No-Questions Return Policy (India Only)

For domestic (India) orders, Sowpeace offers a 48-hour, no-questions return policy from the time of delivery. You may request:

  • A full refund to the original payment method, or
  • A replacement with any available product.

Conditions for return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
  • All accessories, tags, inserts, and protections must be included.
  • The item must be in resellable condition.

This policy does not apply to international orders, customized items, or products marked final-sale.

2. After 48 Hours – Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Products Only

After the initial 48-hour window, returns or replacements are permitted only if:

  • The product was received in damaged condition.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • A different product was delivered mistakenly.

Please contact us within 5 days of delivery and provide a clear unboxing video or photos as proof. This is mandatory to validate the issue.

If a replacement is unavailable, Sowpeace will issue a full refund within 7–10 working days after pickup verification. For COD orders, refunds are issued via Sowpeace store credit or coupon.

3. International Orders (Outside India)

All international sales are final by default.

  • No returns or refunds are accepted for reasons like dislike, minor variations, or change of mind.
  • Every international product is photographed and video-recorded before dispatch for quality proof.
  • If a product arrives with a manufacturing defect (not transit damage), you may contact us within 5 days of delivery with proper evidence.
  • Based on review, Sowpeace may offer:
    • a partial refund, or
    • a replacement shipment (shipping charges may apply).
  • Damage caused during international transit is the responsibility of the courier, and claims must be filed directly with the carrier.

4. How to Request a Return or Replacement

  • Reason for return or complaint
  • Mandatory unboxing video/photos (for damage/defect claims)

Our team will guide you through pickup (India), investigation, or international support, depending on your case.

5. Non-Returnable Products

  • Personal care, hygiene, cosmetic or food-related items
  • Customized, made-to-order, or personalized products
  • Products marked “Final Sale” or discounted heavily
  • Items showing signs of usage, improper handling, or damage caused by the customer

6. Pickup & Refund Timelines

  • Pickup is arranged within 2–3 business days (India only).
  • Once the product reaches our facility and passes verification, refunds are issued within 7–10 working days.
  • Refunds go to the original payment method or as Sowpeace credit (for COD orders).

7. Order Cancellation Policy (Domestic & International)

This cancellation policy applies equally to both Indian and international orders.

  • Orders that have NOT been shipped can be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase for a 100% refund.
  • Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled—under any circumstances.
  • If cancelled in time, the refund will be processed within 24–48 hours.
  • For COD (India), cancellation refunds are issued as Sowpeace store credit.

Orders placed during festivals, clearance sales, or limited-stock events may have restricted cancellation depending on stock availability and warehouse load.
